Grants
- International Youth Internship Program of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development ($15,000). I visited an NGO’s rural project sites in Ethiopia, Malawi, and Uganda. While overseas, I wrote articles on a range of international development work, from health and agroforestry, to sustainability and peacebuilding. It humbled me to interview people doing amazing work while overcoming immense odds.
- UTM Teaching Development Travel Grant ($1,750) to present at The Canadian Network for Environmental Education and Communication conference
